Clara keeps your tasks one keystroke away.
Clara is a personal task app for the Mac. It lives in the menu bar, shows the task you are on, and opens a keyboard-driven overlay to capture, plan and finish tasks without switching windows.
Google Tasks
If you connect Google Tasks, Clara shows the tasks from all your Google task lists next to your other tasks, and lets you add, edit, complete and delete them from the Mac. Changes you make in Google's own apps come back to Clara, and changes you make in Clara go back to Google.
Google Calendar (optional)
If you also connect Google Calendar, Clara reads your calendar list and your events, read-only, to know when a meeting ends. It uses that moment to remind you of what is waiting, and shows your next meeting on the Today view. Clara never changes your calendar.
Your choice, your data
Both connections are opt-in and separate from signing in to Clara. Clara uses Google data only to show and sync it for you. It does not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Read exactly what Clara reads, where it is kept and how to remove it in the privacy policy.
